1. This is a scratch tournament and is open to all sanctioned bowlers of the SJV USBC for the current season.

2. A MINIMUM OF 20 PRE-PAID TEAMS must be to SJV USBC (54704 Maple Lane, South Bend, IN 46615) NO later than April 28, 2024 or the tournament may be canceled. Please keep in mind if entry is being mailed. No entries will be accepted without entry fee. Please make checks payable to: SJV USBC. CASH ONLY Walk-Ins will be permitted the day of the event until 12:45 pm IF there are spots available.

3. Breakdown of fees are as follows: Lineage/Tournament Expenses—$30 per team; Prize fund—$20 per team.

4. $600 first prize is based on 32 entries. This may be adjusted based on the amount of entries.

5. Format:

   • Six (6) baker game qualifier (Bowler #1 bowls frames 1, 3, 5, 7, & 9 and Bowler #2 bowls frames

     2, 4, 6, 8, & 10).

   • Bowlers must switch positions at the beginning of each game.

   • If bowler bowls out of turn, a zero will be marked for that frame.

   • Teams on even lanes will move one pair to the right after each game. Teams on left will move 1 pair

     to the left each game.

   • Top 8 teams will be seeded into a Single Elimination 2 game total pinfall bracket. In the event of a tie,

     the team with the highest game bowled for the day will advance.

   • In the event of a tie during the 2 game bracket, a 9/10 frame roll off will take place.

6. Rules not covered above shall be governed by the USBC.

7. Tournament Director will have the final say on all disputes and interpretations of these and USBC tournament rules.
